Evan Smolik is from Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. Music has been a crucial part of his life since birth, his grandmother being a music teacher and his father playing guitar around him his whole life. When he wasn’t playing a multitude of sports, he was known for singing tunes from the radio or plunking around with the many instruments that were at his house.

Evan’s love for theatre began in 8th grade when he was cast as Ryan Evans in his middle school’s production of High School Musical Jr. In high school, Evan continued his pursuit of theatre by joining the drama program and joining 2 show choir groups, Synergy Show Choir and Mainstreet Song and Dance Troupe.

In 2020 Evan decided that his love of music and acting would continue into his adult life and auditioned, and was accepted into the BFA Musical Theatre program at the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point. During his time there he has been cast in roles such as Kodaly in She Loves Me, Mayor Dobbs in Bright Star, and The Pirate King in Pirates of Penzance.

Evan’s dedication to his craft and passions will continue to drive him to learn and grow more in his post-collegiate career.
